Henry A. McKelvey, as The Director of Information Technology Security at the NAACP, is responsible for new technology development, security enterprise architecture design, and implementation, Security systems development methodologies, and IT Security configuration management. As an Adjunct Professor Mr. McKelvey teaches Network Computer Forensics, Network Security and Design, Intellectual Property Design, and other Information Systems and Technology courses at the University of The Potomac and Cybersecurity Engineering at George Mason University. Mr. McKelvey is an FCC Certified Telecommunications Professional who has worked in several capacities with Wireless Network (WiFi and WiMax) and Radio Systems Technology. As a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff at Verizon Laboratories, he led a team in the design and implementation of advanced technologies which lead to the filing of 16 US Patent Applications, 14 of which have been granted US Patents, Two are in a resubmission state, and the 16 applications are being maintained as patents pending.
